Tim is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor originally from Lincoln, NE. He graduated from Lincoln East High School, and then attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where he earned his BA in Business Administration.  He worked several years in the sales field until realizing helping others is his passion.  He graduated from Doane University with a Master of Arts in Counseling. He worked for five years with the Independence Center in Lincoln.  He then worked for two years for a large Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Center in Casper, WY until exploring northward working for another Community Mental Health Center in Beautiful NW Montana.  Tim decided to come home to family and friends in Lincoln and was with Pine Lake Behavorial Health until a relationship moved him to Lawrence, KS.  Tim decided it was time to open his own practice.  So, Maple Leaf Counseling was born. 

He works with individuals and families and enjoys helping others achieve their goals.

He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working out, jogging, hiking, design, art and working around the home.  Tim is also proud to be a grateful recovering alcoholic with 20+ years of sobriety.
